Lucky Star Casino: If you are visiting Oklahoma City for a few days and you feel like you just might want to see if Lady Luck is on your side, then a short jaunt about 30 miles outside of the city to Concho (El Reno) might be in order.
Operated by the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes, the Lucky Star Casino opened in the mid-1990s and is located in Concho, just north of El Reno on Highway 81. It is one of the more popular gaming centers for metro area residents.
It is a 40,000-square-foot facility that features a number of gaming options for those over 18, and it includes a restaurant, a bar, and stage for live local and regional bands on the weekends.
There are four other Lucky Star Casino locations in Clinton, Canton, Watonga, and Hammon. Across the street from the large Concho casino, for those just passing through town, is the Lucky Star Concho Travel Center, a rest stop outfitted with a convenience store and hundreds of slots and electronic games.
Like many casinos throughout the U.S., all of the Lucky Star Casinos are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Casino in Concho boasts over 1,500 themed casino games and slots from penny to “high limit” machines, including popular choices such as Wheel of Fortune, Royal Reels, Liberty 7’s, Mr. Moneybags, Red Hot Ruby, and more.

If you feel more like having a lighter snack, their appetizer selections include popular favorites like chicken wings and potato skins. The restaurant features a large bar with flat-screen televisions. Reservations are not required, and you do not have to be gaming to visit the restaurant.
Casino primarily focuses on local and regional bands. Musical performances are most common on the weekends, though the schedule occasionally includes a weekday show as well.

If you plan on taking a trip to the Casino in Concho, unlike a couple of the other Casinos, it does not have its own hotel. The casino does offer free R.V. hookups for those passing through town.
